Evan Kramer - President, Grand Poobah

Evan Kramer joined Castles Media in August, 2007 to lead the Company’s online product and marketing strategy. Mr. Kramer is a veteran online media executive who has built category-leading commercial web properties at several different companies. At Castles, Mr. Kramer managed the Web Development and Marketing for Mountainreservations.com (now VacationRoost.com) and successfully launched their new consumer websites, expanded their online marketing strategies and increases web conversion.

Prior to joining Castles Media, Mr. Kramer served as Vice President, Autoguide.com at Consumer Source, Inc. Kramer successfully launched the Autoguide.com site from inception and grew it to a “network” with over 5.5 million monthly unique visitors, and 100% year over year conversion rate growth. Prior to that, Kramer was Director of Strategy for Cox Enterprises, where he initiated and launched the ajcjobs.com, Dent Wizard Service Drive, and Kudzu.com online media properties.

From 1998 to 2000, Kramer worked in the private investment community as an Analyst at Equity-South and then Venture Capital Analyst at Kinetic Ventures. Mr. Kramer began his career as an accountant with Price Waterhouse Coopers, and remains a Certified Public Accountant. He holds a BBA from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Emory University.

Mr. Kramer lives in Atlanta, GA with his wife Ali and daughter Ariella.

Mark Hebert – Founder, CTO

It was Mark Hebert who first taught Dan Quayle how to turn on a computer.  Mr. Hebert has been involved with the Internet since 1981.  Mr. Hebert brings over 20+ years of development of experience to Web Ivy.  With that experience is a multi-variant knowledge of technologies and programming languages.  Mark Hebert is the former CTO of beBetter Networks.  Prior to that Mr. Hebert spent several years in Software Management and Programming at companies such as Crawford& Company and Charter Communications.  In 2006, Mr. Hebert became the technical lead and primary developer on Autoguide.com.  Most recently, Mr. Hebert was attributed to migrating over 80 sites on to a single code base at VacationRoost.com as the lead developer.  Mr. Hebert is an “out-of-the-box” web developer who is a true visionary.  He resides in Georgia with his wife Kelly.  When he is not trying to educate his children the science of computer programming, Mr. Hebert is coming up with the “next best thing” for the Internet.

Matt Almand - Head of Creative Services

Matthew is an experienced Designer with 10 years experience. Mr. Almand is a web site usability expert and takes and illustrators approach to design. In addition, Mr. Almand is proficient in XHTML, CSS and Web Standards. Mr. Almand specializes on consumer web sites and has worked on major web sites in the U.S., Germany and Italy. Mr. Almand focuses on an SEO-friendly design without sacrificing consumer experience. He currently resides in Atlanta with his wife and two daughters.
